RSPCA West Dorset Branch is a
separate charity affiliated to the Royal Society for the Prevention of
Cruelty to Animals (RSPCA). We cover the towns of Dorchester,
Bridport, Weymouth, Portland, Lyme Regis, Charmouth, Sherborne and
Axminster (Devon) as well as all the surrounding villages and hamlets.
Our main priorities are the welfare and rehoming of local animals.
We raise ours funds within the Branch boundaries and all money raised is
spent within the area. We are responsible for "Taylors Animal
Rehoming Centre" at Kingston Maurward, Dorchester. |

wish to report an Animal Emergency or have concerns regarding the
welfare of an animal please telephone 0300 1234 999. Please also
call this number if you need to have an unowned or wild animal
collected by an RSPCA Animal Collection Officer.

DO NOT EMAIL US REGARDING EMERGENCIES OR CRUELTY AS THIS IS NOT THE
MOST EFFICIENT WAY OF DEALING WITH SUCH MATTERS. CALL 0300 1234

Hi we are Lydia & Leanne, and we look
after the cats at the Centre.
Please consider adopting one of our
cats, we take cats that other Charities won't, such
as timid, older and cats with health problems, but
we do rely on you to help rehome them.

Ozzie - Black DSH
male, 2 1/2
yrs. Sweet Independent cat. Looking for a home as a stable cat
or similar. I am a sweetheart mostly, but my issue
is that I do tend to wee standing up, and not always in
my litter tray, so as you can imagine I have had a few
homes, as people don't generally like that sort of
thing. I think the best place for me is to be a
stable cat or similar, where I can do as I please, and
tinkle where I please. Can you help?

HURRICANE - DSH Black female aged 8 mths - Hi me and my litter mates
were born in someone's roof, and haven't had the socialisation that
other cats have had. We are slowly coming around to domestic
life, and with the right home, where we can have all the time we
need to settle, we would become very happy. |

natured Cat. Ideally looking for a home with daughter Jade.
Crystal came into us after her owner was unable to look after her
anymore. |

JADE - DMH DARK TORTIE Female - Aged 18 mths - Sweet natured Cat.
Ideally looking for a home with mum Crystal. Jade came into us after
her owner was unable to look after her anymore. |

MONTY - DSH BLACK & WHITE Male - Aged 3 - 5 yrs. Needs to be
an only cat, and is slightly deaf. He is a handsome chap, but
does have a runny eye which will be an ongoing thing. Monty came to
us after being dumped at a vets in Weymouth. |

NERMAL - DSH BLACK MALE AGED - 4 YRS - Sweet natured Quiet cat, who
would like a home where someone is about in the day. He was rehomed,
but came back due to an allergy in the home. He is neutered
vaccinated and microchipped. |

HENRI - DSH GINGER & WHITE MALE - AGED 3 - 5 YRS - Henri is
such a sweetheart. He came to the Centre with the most awful
collar injury. After a lot of care he is now ready to be
rehomed, and would be a lovely addition to any home. He still has a
little bit of nerve damage to his front left leg, which may be
permanent.

RYAN - DSH BLACK MALE - Aged 3 yrs old - Ryan is a sweet
cat, but is not suitable to live with small children. He
is an absolute sweetheart, once you have gained his trust, but is
nervous of new people. He is neutered, vaccinated & microchipped. |

KIRSTIN - DSH BLACK & WHITE FEMALE - Aged 3 yrs old - Kirstin is a
shy cat, but not nasty. She needs a quiet home, with
understanding people. She is neutered, vaccinated and
microchipped. |

NICKY - DLH - BLACK & WHITE FEMALE - Aged 2 1/2 yrs - Sweet cat, who
will need regular grooming. She is neutered, vaccinated and
microchipped. |

INKY - DSH Black female - aged 2 yrs - Very quiet, but sweet cat
looking for a home with Midnight. She has been neutered, and
we have started her vaccination course. |
